Nice location directly on the beach with free movie night. But foods are very bad, low quality and more expensive than other restaurants on Gili island. Pelecing Kangkung dish not recommendated, tasted not fresh and has a strange smell.

The food quality is not good, prices are higher than the average in the island. Bad service.

Based on what the toilets look and smell like, we did not want to order any food. Juices were fine.

Lovely food but the slowest service I have ever experienced in my entire life. 1.5 hour wait for a sandwich.

Service was great by Lalu and Hari. Nice atmosphere, serving Italian pizzas and homemade pasta.

Pizza's are probably good but the Indonesian food is low in quality and very expensive! Also the pizzas are quite expensive as well and very well topped.

Nice atmosphere. Overpriced. I ordered a prawn and calamari pasta and there were maybe four little shrimps on the side and the rest was pasta. It wasn’t a very large serving considering the price. They did offer to exchange it, but that really doesn’t change the standard of the meal. The service wasn’t amazing for the price bracket of the restaurant either. There are definitely better places to go. Have a little wander down either side for something else.

Me and my friend chose this restaurant for an evening meal based on the setting of the restaurant, and the lovely live band. Unfortunately everything after this point was disappointing. The waiters could not answer simple questions in regards to the menu and meals. After asking several times if the tuna could come with a different sauce, the waiter suddenly decided "there is no tuna today". We eventually decided on two meals, myself the fettuccine and my friend the lasagne. When the food arrived we were shocked at the portion size of the lasagne, which was no larger than the palm of my hand. Nobody came over to ask how our food was, and 15 minutes passed before anybody cleared our plates. We felt ignored and unvalued. Staff were walking right past us dancing to music and ignoring us. The 2 stars above are purely for the location and music. Awful service.

Absolutely loved the food. Service was great and incredibly friendly with a relaxed laid back atmosphere.

Really bad Italian food. It would not be so bad if they did not state everywhere that the food is authentically Italian and their chef is from Rome. Our focaccia was actually just a fried tortilla, carbonarra was raw and I had to explain what salmonella is to the waiter, and after 30 mins waiting they told us they'd run out of the other main we ordered. The spinach and ricotta ravioli I had instead contained no ricotta and the pasta was really badly made. Had it not hyped itself up I would have been impressed with the effort, but I would be surprised if the chef has ever been to Rome let alone is from there. We left and just paid for our drinks and starter, staff dealt with this well which was the only saving grace!

Really really cool place! Came here a lot of times during our 10 days!! Food is a bit more expensive than others restaurant but it’s so gooood (best pizza of Gili Air). Staff is so friendly, you are feeling home! Ask abi for his magic tricks with the ashtray, you will be confused lol !1000 times recommanded for a drink during sunset and food after

Beautiful and romantic setting. Very relaxed atmosphere and affordable prices for meals and drinks. I especially loved their lassies 👌🏾

Great authentic Italian food and staff

The food was pretty terrible. Mie Goreng looked like it came from a packet and even then not properly cooked.It’s a lovely setting, but there are many other places along this stretch, so this one seems to have been a bad choice.

Waited over an hour for a carbonara that was inedible.We ordered a pizza, bruschetta, and a carbonara. The pizza and entree came out, after 40 minutes I asked the waiter if the carbonara was on its way and he said it was. After another 20 minutes I went up to the kitchen itself and they knew nothing of my order. The boss was also there, I asked if they could please start the dish and if we could have some spring rolls on the house in the mean time. The carbonara was then inedible. Just canned Parmesan and egg, awful aftertaste. I took it back after one bite. We were charged for all of it, after arguing with the boss saying “but you ate the spring rolls”??. They forgot to charge us for one of the cocktails so we didn’t mind paying for most of it.. goes to show their staff aren’t very proficient. Overall it’s not worth going at all, the only plus was they were randomly playing the latest terminator movie with a projector?

Pasta was the most disappointing dish in my whole indonesia experience. Staff was very nice and friendly. Toilet was terrible.

Friendly staff, great ambience, delicious pasta and pizzas. One of our favorite places to eat and chill out on the beach at sunset and evening time. Felt like friends and family right from the first night meeting the staff at Boogils Sunset Lounge and Bar.

Had a nice nap. Touch rich.

Was here for lunch on a tuesday. Atmosphere and food was great, but quite pricy. Not too busy unlike the other side of the island. Watch out for ants though.

Great sunset..

The staff was fun and inviting, however the prices are well out of place for the quality, small portioning and flavor. Go to Queen Cafe down the way another couple hundred meters for great food at dirt cheap prices.

Food was terrible! The one time I risked ordering western food and it was a big mistake! The staff were not friendly and worse. I asked one staff member if it was OK to leave my phone close to the WiFi loading something and if he could keep an eye on it. Half an hour later I went to get it and it was gone. The guy I had asked to watch it was waiting tables so I asked at the bar. It wasn’t at the bar but the guy knew which phone I was talking about and went out the back to get another staff member who handed it over from his pocket somewhat begrudgingly. I didn’t like the atmosphere in the place in general but certainly didn’t like the atmosphere around that incident!

We went here to watch the sunset and our drinks took 40 minutes to arrive and when they finally did come 2 of the pina coladas tasted really sour and quite terrible. Also we had ordered chocolate brownies and were a bit disappointed as it was kinda like stale chocolate bread 😭 View was lovely though!

Very friendly staff. Beautifully decorated it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset but it is also very beautiful to have a romantic dinner in the evening. Not as pricey as other places in the island. However the pizza is not as good.

Pizza from wood oven is OK. Indonesian Curry completely watery and bland. Nice sunset view, but annoying, overdrived fairground techno music. Service is unfortunately really bad, nobody care for us, as we we're they only guest.

Food is good, comfortable beach setting, and good sunset view

Honestly we did not want to order our mains because of the fact that the service was everything but great.Multiple items on the menu were not available and it took them 20 minutes to simply get 3 glasses for our water bottle. Let alone the time it took them to make a simple Pina collada.The foccasia with eggplant and the springrolls were good.For that reason 2 stars, not one.I would not recommend eating here.Tip for bar/restaurant: hire another person for the kitchen and keep a better eye on the bill/things the people order. It was a bit of a mess (for the people around us).

We ordered a seafood platter and the fish was super hard I don't know if it was old or maybe the kind of fish. It has only one prawn which was grainy very disgusting texture and it has a big piece of squid which wasn't bad nor good. Also ordered a chicken sandwich and again the chicken was super stiff and dry. The bread was old and also hard. The french fries were good.We got a prosciutto pizza which was fine, thin crust and good ingredients. This is the only reason I don't rate with only one star.Hope they improve because it has a really nice atmosphere.

Nice place. They show movies in an improvised screen. Even stepped out of their was to change the Programm and accommodate our kids' Mobile wishes.

Bartender did not know proper bartending and the drinks were overpriced and small. Can't speak to the food but just not worth it for the drinks.
